Welcome to the website of Graham Fisher MBE and the cyberspace lodgings of Mary Spence MBE, she of Sparrow Publishing.
So, what's happening since the last time we met? Well, Mary continues to create world class maps and I am still doing what I am supposed to be doing, whatever that is.
In our efforts to make this website a cat-free zone we tried to keep all moggies out of sight. (Oh yeah? see below - signed A Cat). Instead here, in a lovely image by British Glass Foundation Secretary Lynn Boleyn MBE, we have the spectacular 2012 Portland Vase Project artefacts now on open display at the all-new Stourbridge Glass Museum in Wordsley, near Stourbridge. And yes, they are glass.
The image, showing the aforementioned Portland Vase display in situ, ties in nicely with our Made In Stourbridge; the story of The 2012 Portland Vase Project (click text to learn more).
This will be joined shortly by the equally stunning 2024 Blue Vase Interpretation, accompanied by an official biographer by Yours Truly and with proceeds to BGF (available soon).
The fascinating tale of how the former Stuart Crystal (makers of glassware for the White Star line, owners of RMS Titanic), was transformed by the BGF from a derelict glassworks into a world-class museum is explained here.
And it's all next to a canal, which is where Yours Truly comes in as a waterways fan and Trustee of BGF. So now you know.

Do also kindly report any bad links and we'll fettle them.
In the meantime ...
